Welcome to my web site. There is a lot of information here, to help you understand the process of family law and how it all works together in the court system of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

My practice concentrates in family law and domestic relations. I have had training in mediation, with a specialty in family law. I am a certified Guardian ad Litem (GAL).  I am also experienced in various other areas of practice, including real estate, drafting wills, health care proxies, powers of attorney, and certain types of trusts.

I have a home office, where clients are welcomed in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.  I try to keep the legalese to a minimum, so that you will always know what is going on with the least amount of confusion.

My practice is concentrated in Middlesex and Essex counties, but I have also provided services in several other counties (Suffolk, Norfolk, Plymouth). I am a familiar sight in Family & Probate Courts in Cambridge, Concord, Lowell, Marlboro, Salem and Lawrence, and am well known to judges, court officers and other personnel in the court system.

Some of the cities and towns covered by those court facilities include: Acton, Andover, Arlington, Bedford, Belmont, Beverly, Billerica, Boxboro, Boxford, Burlington, Cambridge, Carlisle, Chelmsford, Danvers, Dracut, Dunstable, Essex, Gloucester, Haverhill, Ipswich, Lawrence, Lexington, Lowell, Malden, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Medford, Melrose, Methuen,  Newbury,  Newburyport, North Andover, North Reading, Peabody, Pepperell, Reading, Salem, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro, Wilmington, Winchester and Woburn. Other cities and towns are covered. I represent out-of-state clients whose spouses file for a divorce or other family matter here. I have also represented clients who live out of the country.

"The good lawyer is not the man who has an
eye to every side and angle of contingency,
and qualifies all his qualifications, but who
throws himself on your part so heartily, that
he can get you out of a scrape. "

                                         Ralph Waldo Emerson
